✓✓ means opened. That simple.
What it does
Everything you want to know, inside your inbox.
-
Read receipts per email
In your Sent folder and in every thread you see ✓ when an email is sent and ✓✓ once it's opened. Including how often and when it was last opened.
-
A dashboard inside Gmail
A side panel with today's opens and clicks, your most-clicked links and the latest activity. The full dashboard is one click away.
-
Clicks on your links
The links in your signature count clicks, just like in Pro. So you don't just see whether someone opened your email, but whether they did something.
-
Your own opens don't count
When you look at your own sent email, we filter that out as well as we can. The first seconds after sending don't count either.
Honest about opens
✓✓ is an estimate.
We measure an open with an invisible image. That usually works well, but not always.
Apple Mail sometimes preloads images to protect people's privacy. Then you'll see ✓✓ while the recipient hasn't read the email yet. And someone who blocks images can read your email without us noticing.
So treat ✓✓ as a good hint. Want certainty? Look at clicks: those are real.
Privacy
- We never store your recipients' addresses
- We don't read or store the text of your emails
- Storing subjects can be switched off
- No IP addresses for opens and clicks
FAQ
Fair questions.
What does the extension cost?
The extension itself is free, but tracking only works with Pro (€6 a month) or Team. With a free account, the extension shows you what it can do.
How reliable is ✓✓?
It's a strong hint, not proof. Apple Mail sometimes preloads images, so you'll see ✓✓ even though nobody read the email. And someone who blocks images can open your email without us seeing it. Clicks are more reliable.
Does it work in Outlook or on my phone?
The extension runs in Chrome on your computer, in Gmail on the web. Emails you send from your phone don't get a per-email read receipt. The opens and clicks on your signature are still counted everywhere.
When can I install it?
It's coming to the Chrome Web Store soon. Email [email protected] with 'Extension waitlist' as the subject and we'll tell you first.
